Tonight we covered our 8" x 12" in white jovi clay and then stamped into it using the IOD Le Courier Stamp. Next we worked on our heart and build up the base of it with clay to make it rounded, then applied a layer of a heart shape clay with the LaBlanche Background impression. Then we painted the MDF with bourdon red metallic and applied a layer of decor glue tacky. Then we used decor foils on the mdf to make it shiny red. We will finish this piece up on Thursday 2/15/24.

Antiquing Pastes
Chalky Paint in Creamy White
Black Antiquing Gel
In Episode 2 on 2/15 we finished painting the heart details with red bourdon paint. Once that was dry we layered Pentart black antiquing gel over the top. Finally we added some antique pastes in various colors including black, antique copper and white. We covered our board and embellishments in Pentart dekor chalky in creamy white. Once dry, we aged it back with black antiquing gel then brought it back to life with drybrushing again in dekor chalky. The result was a beautifully distressed panel. We added a bit of bronze antique paste to the crown, keys and locks. Once put together, the result was a beautiful one of a kind valentine's treasure.
