This week on the Pentart Facebook Page, we completed the Golden Age of Hollywood Panel which reminds us of Old Hollywood Glam. We used the Golden Age Four Pack Paper, Berwick Theatre and the Art Deco Background Paper combined together to create a beautiful board. If you missed it, you can watch the replays of both sessions here:

Process:
First I painted the board white, let dry and applied the Berwick Theatre Decoupage Paper. Once that was dry, I painted the area white where the portrait would go and then decoupaged that. I decoupaged the sides with art deco background paper. Next I painted all the moulds in chocolate brown paint and then applied waxes to color them further, starting with antique gold antique paste, then gold wax, then a bit of silver on top. Once all the moulds were colored, I laid them out and applied them with heavy body gel. For the fanned feathers, I used a generous amount of heavy body gel to ensure good adhesion. Next I applied fineline crackle to the portrait and umbra antiquing paste to age it back. Then I used the umbra paste to age back other areas as well.
